I find it unbelieveable that our government is so strong in defending itself rather than defending the children.
If there is nothing to hide, If there is nothing that will harm, then why in the world would the FDC, the CDC,the IOW, the Senate, the House simply ball up and defend themselves.
Who, in this world, is defending the children?
When this situation switches, then I will begin to believe there is uniformity of effort between the government, medicine and parents. Then I will believe our children are valued as highly as medicine.
Thanks......

So which austism is Dr. Gupta talking about? Autism with autistic type symptoms or autistic type symptoms with autism? This very important!

I've frequently found myself drawn into many of these fierce debates on article comment sections just because there were SO MANY outrageous and untrue things being said and I couldn't stop responding. Today I didn't feel the need. There were so few posted on the other side, and comments had already been made in response. That IS a big change from just a week ago and good news.

I love the comment where a poster charges Dr. Gupta with the responsibility-- as a medical expert-- of dictating the science to the public. Then this commenter makes his order, requesting the science he wants to see: the science supposedly disputing the vaccine-autism link.
Then there's the remark about how dad is a pediatrician and works so hard and suffers so much from suspicious parents.
What's remarkable is how much these kinds of comments are sinking into a distinct minority on so many forums and how much these commenters can *feel* it. They behave like a minority, acting as if their preferred message is rarely heard or seen. Though this isn't yet true at all, it's still the truth which is rarely reported, they seem to sense the impending turnaround.
