MOM CALLS OUT AAP ON ABC LETTER
Managing Editor's Note: Not long ago, doctors ENDORSED cigarette smoking. Tobacco executives stood before Congress and lied about cigarette safety. To all the Moms and Dads involved in the vaccine safety cause: "Don't Quit." Angela Warner, who wrote this article isn't. Her husband serves in the US Military and is about to go on deployment. She is a warrior too. Thank you, Angela.

Eli Stone, Autism and Vaccines. I Have to Call You out on This One AAP.
January 28, 2007
To the Attention of Dr. Jenkins and the American Academy of Pediatrics:
I don't have much time to email my friends and family anymore, but I will most certainly MAKE the time to email you regarding the letter released today from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
You see I have four children; two of whom have autism, and another who was vaccine damaged in a different way (female). My youngest has
received no vaccines, is 16 months old, and believe it or not, the healthiest of all my children. Autism takes up most of my time these days. I know what caused my boys' autism. The vaccine damage my daughter sustained in two different instances is irrefutable. It is the same with
I find it highly disturbing that the AAP would send a letter to ABC President Anne Sweeney requesting them to censor a fictional TV show.
Especially in light of the AAP's position on censorship which was firmly
stated in Pediatrics Vol. 83 No 2 in February of 1989 (pages 314-315).
"The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) strongly opposes censorship." As a healthcare consumer and one who relied on the advice and guidance of my AAP physician who injected my children with vaccines that caused them harm; I expect you will please clarify this obviously conflictingsituation. Does the AAP strongly support or strongly oppose censorship?
I would also like to state that I find it highly disturbing that the AAP would state in this letter to Anne Sweeney that the AAP knows many
people trust information presented on fictional TV to dictate their healthcare. Well, I guess you set it up that way, didn't you? Along with Pharmaceutical Companies, the CDC, FDA, and Big Media? All the commercials on TV for pharmaceuticals, and promotion of vaccines. Those poor people look so miserable, scared, and sick. Then they get the vaccine or take the drug and life is perfect! That is the real fictional
TV. God forbid someone should question any information presented on TV whether fiction or non-fiction. Quite honestly, I find your assumption
about the American public, our thought process, and your insinuation of our inability to make educated healthcare decisions to be highly
I find it pathetic that the AAP, an organization of 60,000 physicians, would attempt to place an increase in disease and death at the feet of an organization entitled to free speech under the Constitution of the United States and Bill of Rights; "ABC will bear the responsibility for
the needless suffering and potential deaths of children from parents' decisions not to immunize based on the content of the episode." I believe you have something to hide if you have to use coercion and intimidation to get your need met. And your need appears to be that in which no information be circulating that may lead parents and the general public to question anything they are told by their physicians. And I believe that need to be significant.
Measles... I was vaccinated. I got them. I survived. Whooping cough
(pertussis)... My older kids were vaccinated. They all got it. They
survived, in spite of their doctor (Physician's Assistant) who refused
to believe it was whooping cough because he had been conditioned that
vaccines prevent disease, and also in spite of the fact that all three
of them were confirmed by my county Public Health Nurse to have whooping
cough. I suppose you'll say the nurse was wrong, over a PA who worked
for an AAP doctor's office?
There is a link between vaccines and autism. The AAP refuses to listen
and refuses to acknowledge the mistakes that were and continue to be
made. That would be too costly! What is more costly; getting children
the help they need now and preventing the epidemic from worsening? Or
continuing for God knows how long to pay for life long care and have
that fall back on the government once these children become adults? I
would also ask how many deaths due to vaccination? Those deaths for the
most part are grossly under-reported to VAERS aren't they? One of the
vaccines from the same lot and in my area, the one that pushed my
younger son to the edge, was given to another child within a month of my
son receiving it, and that child died. Can you explain that? Can you
explain how another single vaccine later pushed him over the edge and
into the world of autism? Can you explain the same issue for my older
son who has autism as well? One single vaccine that pushed him into a
world of his own? Parents who make the decision to not or no longer
vaccinate are not relying on TV. Unfortunately, we are relying on real
life experiences. I'll spare you the story of my older daughter. I know
you would not be able to objectively look at all the evidence I have and
objectively decipher the information and objectively realize as I did
that it was vaccines that caused her the pain that they did.
Vaccines ARE NOT "the single most powerful, cost-effective public health
intervention ever developed"! Clean water and sanitation are the
single-most powerful and cost-effective public health interventions ever
developed! I guess you along with the PA who refused to believe that my
kids had whooping cough need a refresher course in disease history, and
when they really began to decline.
Mercury is still in vaccines. It is clearly a deceptive tactic for the
AAP to request that should ABC persist in airing the show "to include a
disclaimer emphasizing: No mercury is used as a preservative in
routinely offered childhood vaccines". Why not include a disclaimer
stating that vaccines still contain a trace amount of mercury from the
manufacturing process, mercury is no longer used as a preservative in
most routine childhood vaccines, with the exception of the newly
mandated flu vaccine for children beginning in 2008? How about the
truth. For once, how about telling the truth! You can't and you won't!
And last, I have to add and ask the AAP to question; how far away from
this is the AAP really? It seems not far... And I quote: "Unless we put
Medical Freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine
will organize into an undercover dictatorshi. To restrict the art of
healing to one class of men, and deny equal privilege to others, will be
to constitute the Bastille of Medical Science. All such laws are
un-American and despotic and have no place in a Republic . The
Constitution of this Republic should make special privilege for Medical
Freedom as well as Religious Freedom."
I will be forwarding this email to ABC executives with my thanks to ABC
for moving forward with airing the "Eli Stone" episode. I will look
forward to your response to my questions.

did anyone find a study discussing autism in unimmunized children?

My mother heard about the possible link of vaccinations and autism in the early 1980s. A local healthcare worker in the Baltimore area was on TV and wanted to debate on local news whether they were connected, but no one would stand up and contest. My mom had my three elder siblings vaccinated but decided against it after hearing this theory. She believes it was God's intervention, that something might've happened to me if she had gone through with it. Despite her strong beliefs, my oldest sister had all 3 of her kids vaccinated. Fortunately everything turned out okay. I on the other hand (after much worry, thought, prayer, and tears) refused to get my children vaccinated. Even though there's risks of other serious illnesses including meningitis, I feel like the risk of autism is greater, and I am just trusting the Lord to take care of my children. So far, He has. My heart goes out to others who had their children immunized without being aware of the risks. I respect, admire, and appreciate parents of autistic children standing up and trying to raise awareness. People like me are listening. May God bless.

Would someone please point me to statistics on the percentage of immunized vs. unimmunized children diagnosed with autism? Simply look at autistic kids and just CHECK what percentage of them were vaccinated. If there really is no link, it should be even…I’D LOVE TO SEE THAT.

I wonder who is truly guilty of censorship... The AAp Objected to the content of this show.. We all have a right to protest what we truly believe is harmful and inaccurate information..As you recall there was a simple preface outlining the academy position... the show did air...

My son is on the ASD spectrum he was accedently given the MMR shot at almost 5 months old then they turned around and gave it to him at 1yr. of age. The Dr.s all said not to worry he would be fine and that he had to have it at a yr. cause of the laws. Now he's on the spectrum and no one cares. I know it was the shots that did this to him and I to blame the Dr.'s for lying to me.

Angela, it is an excellent article. Thank you for taking the time to stand up for what we know is true and is hidden. When my son, Eric, developed autistic-like behavior (1999), I knew it was the vaccines. What is so convincing in my case, is the fact that I did not even have a computer then and didn't have access to all the information and debates on vaccinations and autism...I just knew it without any outside influence. I remember feeling uneasy about telling my family that I thought it was the vaccines, thinking that they would think I was crazy for thinking such a thing. I am so glad this has come out and I support your efforts 100%.

Excellent letter - thank you for standing up for what we all believe and know is true.

What can I say?... Your words brought tears to my eyes and down my cheeks. I am honored and humbled. By sharing your thoughts on this with me, you have inspired me and given me strength as well. Strength and inspiration shared are strength and inspiration gained. I will be passing this on to others who have inspired and given strength to me. Thank you, Jeanne.

Angela, It is a given that our kids are our heros. I go into every moment of my life with that in my heart; however, we also need heros (i.e. parents with strength, knowledge, and a will to fight) in the adult realm as well. We need people we can look up to, people to inspire us, people to remind us that we are not alone in this fight. Every day I find parents who inspire me. Today that person is you.
Posted by: Jeanne | January 29, 2008 at 03:23 PM
Jeanne, Thanks for your kind words, but I am not the hero, our kids are. How they feel in their minds and little bodies day after day, year after year I can not fathom. They are the heros and they are looking to us to make it better for them. I'm just a mom with strong vocal cords and I'm not afraid to use them.
Bill, I had to say something to you too... when I read your comment a song that was a huge hit when I was a kid popped into my head... "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", by The Charlie Daniels Band! They have been bought - all of them... they've all sold their souls. How ironic that the CDC is in Atlanta! I know... now you're going to go look up the lyrics... They're soooo fitting!

Angela, you are a hero to us all.

"I find it pathetic that the AAP, an organization of 60,000 physicians, would attempt to place an increase in disease and death at the feet of an organization entitled to free speech under the Constitution of the United States and Bill of Rights."
Unfortunately this is what the AAP has dropped down to, it shows it has reached the bottom of the pit as far as morality goes. Shameful does not even begin to describe these feeble attempts to somehow save face, nevermind its soul that seems to have been bought lock, stock and barrel by the Big Dangerous Entity (BDE).
This is a hair raising article that describes the passion the rest of us can only feel. Thank you Angela.
