Yale News had the opening line,“Researchers have come one step closer to unraveling the genetic origins of autism.”   Autism continues to be the perpetual mystery we just can’t figure out.  I posted two comments asking how this makes any sense.

If you’re worried just go online and assess your child to see if maybe they’re part of the one in 88. “Here's how it works: choose your child, open up the questionnaire about their specific skills, knowledge and behavior. Next, select the activities you'd like to work on with the child.” It’s more acceptance—no questions asked. When I think of all the health issues and the severity of autism in so many kids, this is stunning to read.  The message is: Autism happens. Learn to live with it.  What will it take to wake us up?  I posted 2 comments.

We’re all so used to TV commercials saying, “Have you or a loved one taken the drug….and developed heart disease, seizures etc.”

Why can’t we look at vaccines the same way?  Why are they the scared cow of medicine?  Excellent comments have been posted by the writer of the letter and others.

 

“Bedford resident, NH Director of Advocacy for the National Vaccine Information Center, looks to raise awareness to vaccine risks.”

“Vaccines carry with them risk of sickness, injury and death. To bring attention to that fact and the growing crisis of the injured, October is designated Vaccine Injury Awareness Month.”
