« Helping The Doctors Who Help Our Children with Autism | Main | The World of Flu as Manipulated by the CDC »
Autism Advocates, Parents, Friends and Relatives,
Are you tired of Federal officials covering up autism issues? Would you like to do something about it? Let’s get a date scheduled for the autism hearing!
Congressman Darrell Issa, Chair of the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform, has promised a hearing on the problems with the Vaccine Court and at the CDC regarding autism/vaccine research. However, as of August 14th, the hearing still hasn’t been scheduled. We need to show him and the other committee members that the public is watching. It is time to get a date on the calendar. The hearing needs to be held before the end of September so that the election will not overshadow it. We want Congress to be paying attention!
We need your help to make this happen.
Please call Chairman Issa and other committee members – particularly if they represent you! Share this through Facebook, Twitter and other social media with anyone who will help by contacting Congressional members. Send direct e-mails and faxes to your representatives.
Here’s What to Say:
Ask Congress to get a date on the calendar for autism hearings before September 30th. Congress and the public must know the truth behind the autism epidemic.
Ask Congress why the CDC pretends that autism isn’t an epidemic even though it affects almost 2% of boys. Why the Department of Justice refuses to admit a vaccine-autism connection in vaccine court – even though they have been compensating vaccine-injured children with autism for over 20 years. Why encephalopathy gets compensated in vaccine court and autism doesn’t even though the symptoms are often the same. Why the CDC impedes research on the causes of the autism increase – what are they afraid of finding out? Why the CDC manipulated studies to cover up any connection between vaccines and autism and haven’t pursued Poul Thorsen, the Danish researcher who stole a million of the taxpayer dollars they paid him to do those studies.
Tell Congress that it is time for them to speak up for all the children who can’t speak for themselves.

My son's case was the 2nd "test case" in "vaccine court". From behind the scenes, I can say this is our best opportunity for hearings. If you ever do anything at all for this cause, PLEASE CALL NOW!!!!!!!!!

Just called as my local Rep (D) is listed and they were lukewarm to my call. Issa's office put me into vmail immediately, so I left a message then called right back to speak with a human. Yes, he is getting many calls BUT there still seems to be a lack of concern SO CALL and put the heat to their feet!

I can't believe that Congress people are living in some sort of plastic bubble on the Potomac. I went to Washington in 2005 and 2006 for marches about autism and I trucked to each WI rep and senator's office to tell them about the disaster happening all around us. (I even went to WI Rep. Paul Ryan's office and was informed about the benefits of vaccinations by his staff.) All kinds of other parents did the same thing visiting their delegates' offices. In 2008 Jenny McCarthy led a huge rally at the Capitol. Robert Kennedy Jr. spoke too. There've been other events just like this in Washington.
Our elected officials can't have missed all this.
Every couple of years the CDC solemnly announces to the world yet another dramatic increase in the autism rate.
The Hannah Poling story and the 83 compensated vaccine injury cases involving autism were big news. How did they miss the stories?
The sad truth is autism scares Washington. They'd much rather believe that it's all "better diagnosing" and that "studies show no link." Seriously.
Who wants to be the first to expose the cover-up of a national health care emergency? ---Especially in an election year!
In 2006, I went to MY REP office--(now former) 21 term U.S. Congressman David Obey--Chairman of the powerful House Committee on Appropriations and his chief of staff said to me, "What's the solution? Congressmen don't like problems without solutions."
That's the truth of it. Autism is now a national emergency so huge that I can't imagine how we're going to deal with it. Think about the fallout if suddenly officials at the CDC start calling autism a crisis instead of just a concern. They've spent years denying everything about autism. And remember each time that AUTISM comes up seriously so do VACCINES.
But the longer we pretend it's not happening---the bigger the issue becomes. It's not going away.
