From the Editor: Plus ca change

A description of 1960s France in a book I'm reading: "Tonsils, chickenpox, measles, flu, bronchitis, and all the other mundane afflictions occupy the doctors, along with the births and deaths that march through the years everywhere." Quaint.

i live in a remote area in california, three miles from the oregon border.how would i aquire a autism service dog for our four year old son?

We've had an Autism Service Dog for our autistic son for 3 years and it is such a blessing. Our "Abby" had allowed us to go to public places without the fear of our son eloping. We no longer worry about going to the mall, the airport, fairs, or just being around the neighborhood.
