Are there grants for sanity? Took my son to a naturopath, got all the testing (urine, hair, blood). Results showed allergy to dairy (casein)and wheat (gluten). Gradually stopped dairy as a first step and reduced wheat. Eliminated milk, yogourt and cheese which were everyday foods and reduced gluten products. The problem is we have been unsuccessful replacing these preferred foods with anything else. This can't be a unique problem given that our kids commonly have overselective food options. He has lost nearly 30 lbs in 3 months. And behaviour has not improved at all.
Certainly I'm not the only one who has experienced this. Would appreciate hearing other families stories.
Thank you,
D
