The NAA Conference is next month in Ft. Lauderdale. Even though money is tight for most all of us, if you can swing this conference, it will be worth every penny. Call in some frequent flyer miles. Ask for an early Holiday gift from family members. You will learn so much that you'll save money by being able to narrow down treatment options for your child and by speaking with experts face to face. From our friends at NAA:
Relaxing, informative, hopeful, casual, laid-back, rejuvenating, affordable, tropical, FUN...are we talking about a conference? Absolutely!
If you're an autism parent, this conference is for YOU! The NAC features the world's leading experts on autism in a relaxed, environmentally-friendly tropical resort setting. The schedule is designed to keep you from running frantically from one presentation to another - take some time to dip your toes in the pool or do some shopping in the exhibit hall. The intimate atmosphere allows opportunities to network with speakers, community leaders, fellow parents and friends. FREE food items and beverages will be available in our exhibit hall throughout the conference to help keep your expenses down. This is YOUR conference, don't miss it!
Our 2009 Speaker Lineup includes:Dr. Andy Wakefield, Barbara Loe Fisher, Dr. Dan Rossignol, Dr. Jeff Bradstreet, Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh, Dr. David Berger, Dr. Jerry Kartzinel, Dr. Julie Buckley, Soma Mukhopadhyay, Gary Null, David Kirby, Dr. Anju Usman and more!
New this year! When you register to attend the full conference, you can choose to purchase a companion pass for just $125! Bring your spouse, your Mom, your best friend, your child's therapist - you get the picture! And be sure to tell them to pack their flip-flops!
Se habla espaƱol! Spanish translation services will be available at no charge for all featured speaker presentations and our full-day special ed law workshop!
Childcare available onsite! Thanks to Easter Seals and our sponsor LoJack SafetyNet, onsite childcare will be available at the conference.
Visit NAC for full conference details and registration.

I so wish I could go this year, but I can't. Next year it's already on the calander and the bank will be ready. After Autism One in May, I've decided I need a twice yearly break; it's a necessity for my sanity.
ObjectiveAutismDad, tell your wife to plan on next year. I will happily sip beers with her and her Margarita friends by the pool!!!
NAA next year. Yeh!!! Perfect timing. Learning more and a break to restore my sanity right before Christmas break. Perfect!
All who are going this year, learn alot, relax, get your sanity restored, and have a wonderful time connecting with all the wonderful parents who are there. I will miss you all.
Hugs xx

Say hello to my wife while you're there. When she's not at the presentations she'll be by the pool drinking a beer with her Margarita friends. Lord knows she needs the break.
