Olmsted on Autism: Healy Hit's 'Em With 'Heavy Duty' Hep B!

So many good things happened on Larry King last week that it's taken me a while to zero in on one that I want to make sure we don't overlook. It is, as far as I know, the first time anyone in the mainstream medical world has singled out a vaccine on the current CDC schedule as needless and, implicitly, downright dangerous.
 
For that we can thank -- as we can for so much else -- Bernadine Healy. Here is the passage, with the "Jesus" reference left in for its seasonal relevance and general cheekiness:
 
"HEALEY: I think we haven't had the come to Jesus session yet that says, wait a minute, this polarization is very negative. It's not good for the children and it's not good for the science. Quite frankly, Larry, there is no such thing as anti-vaccine and pro-vaccine. We are all pro-vaccine. We know what Polio is. We know what Meningitis is. We know what we want to avoid.
 
"But there are some vaccines here -- let's forget about autism. There are some vaccines here that one -- a parent can legitimately question: giving a one-day old baby, or a two-day old baby Hepatitis B vaccine, that has no risk for it. The mother has no risk for it. That's a heavy duty vaccine given on day two, at two months, at four months. I think those are legitimate questions. I think there has to be more flexibility and we need to have people smiling at each other, saying we're hearing you, let's move forward."

Well, there it is -- forget autism. Hep B at birth? It's needless and it's "heavy duty" -- what a great way to put it. Not the "10,000 vaccines at once" idea of Paul Offit, but the idea that ONE vaccine, on day ONE or two or whatever, is dubious in the extreme.

And that's not being anti-vaccine, she hastens to say. You can totally question a vaccine and be pro-vaccine -- at least you can if you're the former head of the NIH and the Red Cross and a member of the IOM. Which means we can, too. I know several people, doctors among them, who think Hep B is the ugly sneering death's head of the vaccine development complex -- it shows you what's just beneath the mask of bland reassurance that we're doing it all to protect our kids.

Nope. Hep B is not necessary. It kills and damages kids (and causes autism, but let's forget about autism) and protects against nothing. About the only thing it's good at is making money. What's next, Gardasil at birth (and why not, it's the same idea)?

It's an outrage, and it's a tip-off to the truth that is just below the surface, threatening to emerge if the big pharma-funded media and the mainstram medical powers that be let down their guard for one minute. Stay tuned!

My eldest son (Dx ASD at 3y.o.) was given the Hep-B shot 24 hours after birth without even asking us. Before delivery of my second son, we put it in writing with capital letters on the general consent form that no medicines of any kind were to be given to him without our prior consent, and that we refused Hep-B. We again denied consent for Hep-B on a separate specific form. Finally we had to sign a form saying that we had been advised that he should get the Hep-B within two months after birth. All this process was civil enough, and nobody had the guts to put any direct pressure on us. But you could tell they all thought we were being irresponsible. Nurses go by the book and the book is seriously wrong, as it is full of advise paid for by pharma.

To me, if you want to educate health professionals you should forget about the doctors and go after these birth ward nurses. After all, nurses have a lower compliance rate with the flu shot than the overall population, even when they are specifically required to get it. Maybe they know something we don't.

Healy still believes vaccines have value, I don't. This is where I part the road with her. Albeit, I love that she puts down the need of vaccines in some instances.

Look at the map and statistics...they don't cure or prevent or ameleorate any diseases, this is the big vaccine lie. Healthy vibrant EXCERCISED immune systems..helllooo...let's concentrate on that...that's what makes us fight off diseases, not vaccines. That's what makes children smart, healthy, vibrant, as opposed to sickly, allergenic, brain diseased and open to infections numerous. Vaccines CAUSE/INITITATE/WORSEN disease, they are either immediately noticed, and or, they are delayed, or in decades delayed with lovely SV-40 cancers. Polio vaccines caused polio, guillian barr and ME/CFS.

I may have no claim on the angelic prophecy that vaccines have no worth..but I do and see and have witnessed what they have done on a personal level. I don't think it is coincidence that we have the worse mortality rate in the world, the worse obesity rate, the worse autism and ADHD rate, the worse cancer rate in the world, being that we are a heavily dependent believing trusting mesmorized public in the vaccine propoganda.

I am glad my kids never had HEP B, but I know for sure, their autism was initiated and triggered by DPT and MMR. I also know, that most kids nowadays, are so toxic/worn out immunologically by the time they get IN the world, they cannot take one more thing...have we reached the tipping point yet? Have we reached the point that we now have to question ANY vaccine going into our kids, answer to that, is YES, giant yes...and that is the part where I part the road, and that is the part where I am in the camp of the zealoutrous and truthfull parents who believe any vaccines are unsafe. Given what you know now, would you vaccinate again, in another child? PLUEEZ, if you do, then you are a very brave person.

That may not be YOUR way of thinking, but sure as heck, I see what vaccines can do, and I am not going to go to VEGAS to find out if I am lucky...or not...that is why my grandboys, are not vaccinated and are so smart and thriving, neurologically, meeting beyond milestones, talking early, walking early, able to handle ALL foods, etc...this is the children which I would have had, had I untrusted/tore apart, and researched the vaccine lie.

Newborns don't even hae a viable detox system, liver function and blood brain barrier, what are they thinking? I am thinking they are thinking, of how to reduce the population by making kids socially unable to marry, or even, just even, abortificants which are in vaccines such as mercury and aluminum and formaldehyde, are known abortificants. Get real people, see the illusion..

ABSTRACT

Background Reports of multiple sclerosis developing after hepatitis B vaccination have led to the concern that this vaccine might be a cause of multiple sclerosis in previously healthy subjects.

Methods We conducted a nested case–control study in two large cohorts of nurses in the United States, those in the Nurses' Health Study (which has followed 121,700 women since 1976) and those in the Nurses' Health Study II (which has followed 116,671 women since 1989). For each woman with multiple sclerosis, we selected as controls five healthy women and one woman with breast cancer. Information about hepatitis B vaccination was obtained by means of a mailed questionnaire and was confirmed by means of vaccination certificates. The analyses included 192 women with multiple sclerosis and 645 matched controls (534 healthy controls and 111 with breast cancer) and were conducted with the use of conditional logistic regression.

Results The multivariate relative risk of multiple sclerosis associated with exposure to the hepatitis B vaccine at any time before the onset of the disease was 0.9 (95 percent confidence interval, 0.5 to 1.6). The relative risk associated with hepatitis B vaccination within two years before the onset of the disease was 0.7 (95 percent confidence interval, 0.3 to 1.8). The results were similar in analyses restricted to women with multiple sclerosis that began after the introduction of the recombinant hepatitis B vaccine. There was also no association between the number of doses of vaccine received and the risk of multiple sclerosis.

Conclusions These results indicate no association between hepatitis B vaccination and the development of multiple sclerosis.

"A Harvard study found those vaccinated against Hepatitis B are at increased risk of multiple sclerosis, although it did not determine whether the jab caused the disease or speeded up the onset in those already destined to have it."

My son was a mere 4 lbs when he got the Hep B and then there was low grade fever and fussiness for days after. He stopped sleeping, projectile vomiting, the works.

Most people having babies just don't even realize the needless danger of the Hep B, and ANY vaccine given just after birth is insane to begin with. This should be the first to be deleted from the schedule on anyone's list, but another big scam is all of the additional boosters. Usually the titers testing shows immunity levels still existing so why "add insult to injury" with one booster shot after another??!! Thank God the message is finally getting out there for people to understand that they need to do the math. Adding up just the neurotoxic aluminum exposures is scary enough, but that is just the tip of the iceberg--> formaldehyde, antifreeze, phenol, MSG, foreign animal DNA, human aborted fetal tissue, bacterial and viral toxins including that which is unknown as existing in tissue cultivation, on and on ad nauseum. I have always believed that Hepatis B shot is what sent my son into the world that he can not yet emerge from. My son is a from what I can tell a rare example of a child so badly damaged by this Hep B shot and the following immunization insults, that he has not made any progress for 4 and a half years. It breaks my heart over and over again. When he gains something so minute one day and the next day it is gone.

I watched this show as well. And I remember this doctor saying that we (science and mds) need to start listening to the parents. That our "hunches" actually have merit, is how I understood her. What a huge leap she took saying this on Larry King Live. If I could, I would thank her personally.

One of the comments here reminded me of something that would, in any other forum, hardly be believed. I had stipulated (back in late 1996) for no Hep B at birth. I had an emergency C-section and my son (dx autistic at age 3, but really began to disappear on us at age 15 mos,just after DTaP and MMR) was about 6 weeks pre-term. I had a hard delivery and was given heart meds but my husband and doula were on duty. However, somehow, "Hep B" was put on my son's birth chart. When I was reading it a few days after (we were both still in the hospital) I went to the nurse in charge and said, "But I said no Hep B!!!" and she said, "Oh--that was a mistake" and ERASED IT.

I was so shocked. But they had my baby in an incubator and I knew there was no undo button, so I just said nothing.

God help us all.

According to recent VAERS reports, there are roughly 60 children killed each year from the HepB vaccine.

75 children die every year from accidental choking.

Think how much money, energy and preventive strategies go into protecting a child from choking to death on toy parts, food, etc.

I am of the age that some of my friends are starting to have grandchildren. Whenever I mention vaccinations I get the look. it just breaks my heart to know with every new baby born is another child that is going to be damaged by the best medical care they could receive.
My mother and mother in law were both born at home and NEVER went to the doctor, but they did receive cod liver oil every winter.
When i hear the name well baby check up I think it is such an oxymoron. its like parents who take there kids to the dermatalogist for acne. Have you ever noticed they always have the worst skin. I think we should demand a refund for our well baby check ups because these kids are NOT WELL.
I think we should start picketing the hospitals and peds offices like pro-lifers to demand stop damaging our greatest commodity our children.

I lived way out on in the country, married a cowboy, and neither one of us ever did drugs. No one will ever convince me different. I have nothing in common with anyone but immunizations. It still brings tears to my eyes when think of our son, Sam, being given the Hep B and entire month before he was even due to be born! You see, Sam was born 10 weeks premature. According to his attending physician, Sam did "remarkable well" during his six week stay in the ICN. One of the stipulations for his release was his first set of immunizations, Hep B/Hib and Synagis. We would have given our left arm if it meant our little boy could home! We would have been irresponsible, bad parents to not comply....or so we were lead to believe. He wasn’t even due to be born yet…

My sister gave birth last week 4 weeks early. The hospital "accidentally" administered the Hep B shot despite the fact she declined it verbally and in writing (birth plan and waiver). He developed an infection and jaundice shortly after. She is so distraught over the fact that he was injected with toxins, particularly while he was in such a precarious state...such a breach of trust. Now at day 10, he seems ok...still in the special care nursery most likely for a few more days. But who knows what if there will be any long-term damage. Any suggestions on how she should handle? She is meeting with the head nurse next week to discuss.

What about the Feb 09 ruling that Hep B caused Multiple Sclerosis (in an adult, no less)? It's amazing that anyone succeeds in defending why it is given at such a young age. I guess that's what you get with an uninformed population and a press corps that is asleep at the wheel (or controlled by private corporate greed).

Vaccinating a newborn with Hep B should make everyone question what the true motives of vaccines really are. My son got a full dose mercury hep B the day he was born and again at two weeks and AGAIN at two months. I was so naive to let that happen. My undertanding is that some brands of Hep B were not manufactured "mercury free" (if you believe them) until 2007. So, there will be no wane in autism any time soon.

People are asking friends/family to stand over their babies to watch hospital personnel so they don't vaccinate the baby while the parents are occupied. ISn't this an awful world.

I have always said that the Hep B vaccine for newborns is like selling ice cubes to Eskimos - they don't need it, and if parents can be hoodwinked into buying into it, they will swallow anything else the CDC sells them.

Doctors will tell you it is for the childs protection so when they become sexualy active, they will be protected. But won't they don't tell you, and probably don't know themsevles, is that the vaccines immunity has been shown to last between 5 to 7 years on average. So the infant series given between birth and 10 months is most likely to have worn off by the time the child is in grade school.

So parents, we are taking all the risks of this dangerous vaccine, with absolutely no possible benefits.

My son received the Hep B, without my knowledge, at birth and became jaundiced the next day. This was a full term, 9lb. 9 oz, 9/9 apgar baby. After the shot, he became colicky and stayed that way until he was 8 months. He over came the colic and started to thrive again walking at 10 mos, talking at 11 mos, happy and social until he was 14 months when we loaded him up again with his one year round of vaccines. After 3 years of biomed and homeopathy, he is doing really well.

His doctor told me not to worry about the jaundice that we were in CA so just "put him in the sun and he will be fine, it's very common for newborns to have jaundice". What a bunch of BS! His liver always shows up as stressed which probably led to his digestive issues and caused all the other problems he had. Parents should RUN from the Hep B and if your child is jaundiced take him to an alternative doc who understands what havoc that can cause and treats it. Otherwise that your child will have a lot in common with other jaundiced newborns in that he will need special ed. Wake up parents and realize that these docs have no clue when it comes to "well baby care". Research and protect your child!

My son, born 5 weeks early due to pre-eclampsia, was first put on supplemental oxygen in the NICU and then immediately jabbed with Hep. B. He was born at 5:30pm and vaccine records from the hospital show he received the vaccine an hour later. Talk about setting his immune system up for failure.
As a childbirth educator and birth doula I make sure my clients know that this shot is given immediately after birth at our local hospitals and you can opt out of it...put it in your birth plan and have someone stay with your baby at ALL times. They like to give you the permission form upon admission when these moms are in full blown labor and signing paperwork is a second thought. Shameful!

The big message so loud and clear here is that A TOP DOCTOR, A RECOGNIZED EXPERT, AN INDEPENDENT VOICE...questions the vaccine schedule. The press better realize that there are lots of questions and no proof of safety.

Most of us would gladly agree to keep our kids away from illicit IV drug use and unprotected sex for the first few years of their lives. There is no justification for giving THAT vaccine at THAT stage of life.

This vaccine really upsets me too because the FDA set the limit for aluminum in injectable solutions to 25 mcg because aluminum-containing solutions were causing neurological delays in premature babies.

Then for some reason it's considered safe and 'necessary' to vaccinate all newborns, including preemies, with this vaccine that contains 250 mcg of aluminum. And very low birth weight is a significant risk factor for autism. Combine that with the study cited by Dr. Berger that children who received all 3 doses of the hep B vaccine were 9 times as likely to need special education.

And for anyone who is wondering why this vaccine is recommended for newborns, according to the FDA, it's because "It's easier to reach children because school enrollment requires immunization"

Okay, so if the goal is life long protection and they are not at risk, they could have at least delayed this vaccine until age 4. Why is there such a push to give newborns this vaccines? It really makes no sense.

Prior to Ben's birth we cleared it with the doctors that he would NOT be getting a HepB shot on the day he was born.

HOWEVER, out of the corner of my eye I saw a nurse just about to jab Ben and shouted at her to STOP! This was all caught on video.

Later when Ben was diagnosed within the ASD, I retrieved his medical records where it stated that Ben received his HepB vaccine at the hospital on the day he was born.

Hep B shot has always stood out in my mind when me and my wife reviewed my son's vaccine schedule. I didn't know why except how useless it was and how early it was given.
