"Finally, I have to make it clear to visitors of this web site, that these accounts will not on the whole contain silly stories about Brian Deer. The GMC hearing is a very serious matter.
However, someone who read the report about the first day of the hearing told me that I had missed a little story about Brian. Apparently, during the first day, he had returned after lunch to the GMC building with MP Evan Harris. After facing a hostile crowd, and in his haste to get back inside, he missed the door and bumped into the glass wall of the building. Confused, he turned round, faced the crowd momentarily then tried to find the door again, only to bump into the glass wall a second time. Eventually a concerned and rather amused police officer, guided him gently back inside."

    hahaha! lol

“Transcripts were freely available through week one, when allegations were being read out without rebuttal. After cross examination began it was decided not to make them available any more.” This bias by the prosecution is telling.

As to the charge that Dr. Wakefield et al “carried out research on children which did not meet the inclusion criteria laid down by the ethics committee,” this is totally perverse considering they are trying to help children already injected with vaccinations with serious safety issues. Perhaps they might consider charging the people that injected these children in the first place.

And it is not as if Dr. Wakefield injected these children with a known neurotoxin. Look at Pichichero at http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/cgi/reprint/121/2/e208 . Newborns were given vaccines with thimerosal for the purpose of measuring the resultant mercury in blood levels due to ethylmercury (from thimerosal). “and all vaccines were administered by the investigators at the time of the enrollment visit.”

you are a major fly in the ointment to the establishment. We are so very grateful for all the days you have had to endure sitting just a few yards from the "complainant" Brian Deer. thank you

looks like Mr Kirby may have to step to one side as you have a new favourite!

    Wonderful writing, Mr. Walker.

The ethics question? Let's have a look.

    Here....

"He carried out research on children which did not meet the inclusion criteria laid down by the ethics committee,"

    And again here....

"On Tuesday July 25 Miss Smith began to address one of the main planks of the prosecution case; Dr Andrew Wakefield’s alleged failure to abide by ethical rules governing the practice of research."
    -------------

The ethics? How many infants and toddlers have had spinal taps? Zero? Not likely.

The ethics? Repairing vaccine-induced Intussusception cause by a resortment of rotavirus vaccines isn't unethical, is it?

Where is the *real* ethics question in relationship to Dr. Wakefield?

It's here in a small segment of the Simpsonwood Transcripts.

Dr. Chen: "I think the bottom line is that while the zero group is different, and I think all of us would agree with that, the issue is that it is impossible, unethical to leave kids unimmunized, so you will never, ever resolve that issue."

The residuals of vaccine damage equals Autism is NOT Andrew Wakefield's problem. The fact that the MMR vaccine causes Measles-induced neurological damage just like the wild strains do is NOT Andrew Wakefield's ethical predicament.

    Jeanne

Thank you Mr. Walker for all you do!
