The Doctors TV Program 10/28

The Doctors is airing a program that involves autism, vaccinations and ADHD this Tuesday, October 28th. From their site HERE:

Measles are making a nationwide comeback. Are parents who refuse* to vaccinate their children contributing to the problem? Or, are the vaccinations more dangerous than the disease? And, are we overmedicating children who have ADHD?

I saw this segment and it appeared that they used this poor young mother. They set her up and made her look like a hysterical mother who was not credible. I was truly angry. But that's the media for you.

Personally, I believe this show was worth watching. I was "drafted" into the "informed choice" army six plus years ago when my grandson "regressed" and was diagnosed autistic. There is no way some of the opinions expressed on this show would have "aired" then. Such as, two doctors agreeing the parent should have the right to make an "informed choice" on vaccinating their child.

So, much progress has been made in the information open for discussion.

The best thing we have going for us is exposing the shallowness of the "experts" arguments.

Such as, the A.A.P. "sock puppet" in audience who claimed to administer 1,000 vaccines a MONTH and has done so for TEN years...without ONCE seeing an adverse reaction as serious as the mom on the show experienced.

Think about it, 1,000 a month in ONE year equals 12,000 vaccines. Over TEN years, 120,000 vaccines.

How likely do you think it is this woman hasn't had a child experience a SINGLE serious adverse reaction in that time. Unless, she believes the "reaction" must be immediate, such as, prior to her withdrawing the needle from the child's arm. Apparently, anything AFTER the child leaves her office, such as, Jenny's child suffering a life-threatening seizure on the ride home from ped's office....is NOT vaccine related.

How much does the 'average" vaccine cost?

Let's say about $25.00 for the average. 1000 vaccines a month...$25,000. 12,000 vaccines a year...$300,000. 120,000 over ten years....1,200,000.

That's just a single doctor's financial reward..the pharmaceutical companies do a whole lot better.

Who says crime does not pay.

of course i can't remember where i read this article about the pnuemo vax causing a increase in MRSA cases. but i remember saying thinking gee maybe that is why my 6 month old son got it! and after trying to fight it for over a year and being on antibiotic after antibiotic and then on top of all this being vaccinated over and over....gee i wonder what caused his autism?!?!!!!! i have to say i work in the medical field and i see a lot of MRSA. and i know that if the find a vaccine for it, it WILL be on the list!

not to get off topic....my son is getting biomedical treatment and is doing SO much better. anyway i told my primary doc that my son was starting to talk in sentences after i started him on GFCF diet. she looked at me like i was crazy! then she told me that even if i didn't do the diet he would have started to talk. i was enraged! i still am. come live at my house lady. i tried everything and there was no talking from him at my house. 5 days after being dairy free and he started looking at me and telling me what he wanted! is that a coinsidence? i think not! why are people blinded by the fact that we are healing our kids? why does she think i am crazy? i was so offended. i called my hubby to make sure it happened like i said because i wanted to make sure i wasn't crazy! and guess what i'm not!

Just wait until they come out with a MRSA vaccine, then that's ALL you will hear about is the number of people that MRSA kills. The only reason it is not talked about is because there is nothing that they can sell you to prevent it just yet.

What is the harm in a consideration for a change in the schedule? I just don't get it? Ther have never been safety studies on teh vaccine schedule that our children receive. What harm in putting off vaccines that are not life threatening? Varicella? GMAB. Hep B? Whatever.
These kinds of interviews are really bullyviews.

chris, I really feel for you it must be very hard to not be absolutely disgusted by a lot of the medical people you have to take your Natalie to.
Even as someone who works with special needs kids, I nearly spat at the doctor/presenter last night when he mentioned that "hey, everything has a risk associated with it-my plane didn't arrive with my luggage but I still travel." What a stupid thing -to compare luggage with a child's quality of life. It ISN'T acceptable that so many children/adults are harmed so seriously with vaccinations and have it brushed off as collateral damage.
Just keep talking about it-maybe that in itself will help a little. Good luck to you.

Wow. She’s given over a thousand vaccines a month. That’s pretty astute, Patrick. Even if she’s giving combined vaccines, what this means is that her practice consists of pretty much nothing at all but vaccinating children.

No wonder they’re afraid to stop.

Why did they introduce Julia as a mother who’s ‘trying to ban vaccines’, when the first thing that Julia had to say was that she wasn’t doing that? It seemed pretty obvious to me that they were trying to besmirch her even before she opened her mouth.

I hope to God most Americans aren’t so dense that they’re falling for this kind of pathetic attempt at fear mongering. Surely they must be saying to themselves “THAT is the best they can come up with?? I’m supposed to believe that 131 cases of measles portends a future epidemic, instead of fearing that my child might be the one in a hundred and fifty that might regress into autism? I’m supposed to fear a hypothetical situation instead of fearing what’s right before my eyes right now?

In just the few years that I’ve learned about the mercury in the vaccines, a couple of hundred thousand children have regressed into autism. Not aspergers, not pddnos, but full-blown, shit-smearing autism. A couple of hundred thousand children essentially gone, and I’m supposed to be worried about a hundred some cases of measles??

They spoke about how those parents who don’t vaccinate put others at risk. They glossed over the fact that it’s only the very young or very old or immuno-compromised who are put at risk, not the fully vaccinated population. I’ll bet they left most viewers with the impression that those who aren’t vaccinated are putting ALL children at risk and I’m sure that that was their intent. I wonder what percentage of the population is too young or too old or too immuno-compromised to have had their vaccines? Even if all of those people were put at risk, would it amount to the numbers of children who’ve regressed into full blown autism thanks to those vaccines?

And even if that number were higher, is it morally right to insist that our children be sacrificed to protect those people? Who are these Doctors that They feel so comfortable playing God, deciding who will be sacrificed and who will be saved, and then forcing others to do as They say?

And that anorexic looking female Doctor who delivers all of the babies She delivers while wearing high heels? I’m not a Doctor I’m an engineer, and I won’t go on about reactions and moments and what those things do to the forces on the balls of your feet, but take my word for it, it’s not pretty. But my point is this-- you don’t HAVE to take my word for it. You all are free to wear them if you like, and I’m free, (at the moment anyway), to avoid like the plague if I am ever in need of medical services a woman who is, in my opinion, so daft that she’d wear high heels all day long while on her feet practicing medicine. Nobody is trying to stop her from wearing any kind of shoe that she would like to on her pretty little feet. Nobody is trying to force her into doing anything, the way that the government and our Doctors have been forcing people into poisoning our children.

God help us all when we have socialized medicine. Our Doctors will all be as vacuous as those Doctors I saw this afternoon on my television.

One in 5500 adverse reactions? Oh sure, but that’s only because They’ve been totally ignoring the children who’ve slipped into autism. Then They talk about how They base their decisions not on emotions but on logic and reason. Lol. There it was again-- that accusation that a mother cannot possibly be taken seriously when discussing how vaccines harmed their child, because they’re emotional. There it is again, that idea that we must be ignored until we’re willing to stop caring about our children.

Immunilogical particles? Why on earth do I care about the number of immunological particles in these vaccines, when the substance that’s done all of the damage is most probably the stuff with the skull and cross bones on the bottle? And why do they refuse to address that, but rather change the subject to ‘immunological particles’?

If this ever goes to a fair court with a jury of our peers, I have no doubt that They will find Themselves with not a leg to stand on. They’ll be pissing their pants with fear when that happens.

This show never fails to dissapoint me.

I get that feeling like I am in a Doctor's office and they are trying to quickly finish up with me to get to the next patient.

On the other hand the guests stories are moving. I felt like the Mom spoke well for me regarding the downward spiral so many children and families take after vaccines are administered.

I was surprised that the pediatrician that gives a shot every 10 minutes (she said she gives over 1000 vaccines per month and has for over 10 years) had never heard a complaint of major side effects from vaccination. Although my pediatricians (group) have no clue about my son's major anomalies, social issues, speech, physical issues, seizures, and absorption problems that occured after his vaccinations. They simpley never talk about his health. They just do a quick well visit.

Maybe they don't have time to look at his history. I assume this is the case with this pediatrician on the show. She didn't seem aware of how sick with infectious diseases children are. I feel like pediatricians are stuck with statistics from 25 years ago and can't see what is happening in front of their own eyes.

I have never watched "The Doctors" and I don't think I am going to. I know people who have watched it and have told me about several of the episodes and pretty much when a non-mainstream topic comes up, the show is biased towards the "mainstream" being right and the "non-mainstream" being wrong. I have a feeling the show would just piss me off. There was one about homebirth a few weeks ago and all they did was rattle on and on about how "dangerous" it is, they didn't even have a midwife present to talk about how she handles things (I've had four homebirths myself).

There was one about Gardasil supposedly where they were very dismissive and unfeeling towards a young lady who became very ill within a day of the shot, doing the whole "it is all in your head", "it was just a coincidence" routine and of course the whole "Muh well, even if the shots did cause your illness it's for "the greater good", suck it up and accept that you are a sacrificial lamb". Barf. I have a feeling the show about the routine childhood shots will just leave me angry.

I have a serious question for some of you - how do you not hate the entire medical community sometimes? I know that there are good doctors out there; in fact I have found a wonderful group of pediatricians and I am currently fighting to be allowed to be seen off base by them. This group happen to be some of the decent ones, but the whole "its not the shots and even if it is these kids are acceptable throwaways" concept that so many people in the medical community espouse really truly bothers me to no end. Because my daughter IS one of these children that the medical community as a whole has deemed as "not important". It literally makes me so sick to my stomach that these people who claim to care so deeply about every single child and only want to be altruistic and help save lives feel my daughter is "less than" because she did not live up to their ideology. How do you not project those feelings to every single doc or nurse that you meet? I seriously sometimes feel sick to my stomach when I take one of my children to the clinic, whether it is my ASD child or my NT children, to know that these people may very well be looking at my beautiful Natalie flapping her hands and see her as a throwaway, is going to be placing their hands on one of my babies. I literally want to pull my kids away sometimes and tell them to get their filthy hands off my child if they think they are gods and can decide who is or is not more important.

Has anyone else struggled with these feelings before in regards to taking your children in when they are sick or in need of a well visit? How did you cope taking your ASD and NT children to doctors appointments without all the emotions coming flooding to the surface and affecting you for the rest of the day? Am I weird to feel weird, angry, sad, every time I take my children in to the clinic?

It is along the same vein of abortion; I could never allow myself to KNOWINGLY be treated by a doctor who used to perform abortions because the concept of abortion bothers me so much (no, I am not trying to get into an abortion debate, it is just something that bothers me personally). I feel terrible getting my kids treated by someone who deep down may feel that my second child is a throwaway, if you KWIM.

While I don't have my hopes up over this, having been disappointed too many times by the media/entertainment world, it keeps the controversy out there.

If this forum again chants the mantra, "Vaccines are safe, vaccines save lives," it won't mean much. We've heard it for years.

Tell us why parents keep saying vaccines are linked to autism.

Tell us why kids who were normally developing regressed and lost skills after receiving vaccines.

And tell us how you can say vaccines are safe when there aren't the legitimate studies to prove it.

At the NJ Vaccine Choice rally in Trenton NJ a week ago, a doctor who was educated at a prestigious medical school spoke on how the sum total of doctors medical school training on vaccines consisted of learning the schedule, and how to get kids caught back up on the schedule. If that is a general truth, I would be curious to know what education these doctors on the show have received on the subject and where they got it.

I would also like an explanation for how the one size fits all vaccination schedule jives with the Hippocratic oath: 'Never to do deliberate harm to anyone for anyone else's interest.' How does rolling the dice with vaccination for the sake of the herd not violate that principle?

The continual denial of real medical issues after vaccination and the fact that we have one of the worlds sickest group of children, while saying it is all in the parents heads, by these folks only serves to undermine thier own credibility. They are hanging thier own program. As far as risk taking......They can take those risk with thier own offspring.

Do I have any takers for my bet that the pharmaceutical manufacturers will be heavily represented on 28th October?

I have seen this program before with the Gardasil agenda, and was very disappointed, because they concluded, that it was all in the mind of the patients (fainting and getting ill, I guess death too!!!) And said that everything involves risks, so the few deaths are small price to pay.. just casualties of war!!!
