What did you think of Sarah Palin's endorsing Sarron Angle. Do you think if Angle would have beat Senator Reid that she would do more for Autism.
I recently heard Don Imus on his radio show sticking up for Senator Reid. He said that when his wife when to Congress to discuss Autism that Senator Reid was very helpful.
I never heard Palin express her concern for Angle mocking autism. Palin doesn't often miss a chance to add her two cents.
Thank you for your time. Warm regards, Chris

The Autism One interview was Great!! Everyone should listen before you vote!!! Sarah Palin knows what parents who have a child with autism need. Everyone needs to reconsider their vote. Rember Illinois ( Senator Obama State)is DEAD LAST for helping children with AUTSM!! Alaska is 4th in the nation. They take care of our kids in Alaska!!!

I'm voting for McCain/Palin.
Robert and Sandy Waters said that Illinois (Senator Obama's State) is sooo bad for children with autism that friends of theirs have actually MOVED to another state to get better care.
On the other hand, read about what Sarah Palin did for special needs children in Alaska:
"Barbara Angaiak, president of the state affiliate of the National Education Association... credited Ms. Palin for having backed a legislative proposal, which became law this year, that overhauled the state’s school funding system. That plan brought more money to the state’s many rural and remote school districts and raised spending for students with special needs. ("Alaska Legislators Overhaul Funding," April 30, 2008.)
****The measure raised per-pupil funding by $100, to $5,480, and brought the state’s total K-12 budget to $1.2 billion.***
“She understands many of the issues that are important to educators in Alaska," Ms. Angaiak said. "
And
"If you look at the 2007 budget ... the budget for the school year was $8,265,300 and this number included the Alaskan Challenged Youth Academy.
If you look at the 2008 budget ...(page 13)
the budget is $3,156,000, but the Alaskan Challenged Youth Academy is a seperate line item. It's budget is $5,709,000 for a grand total of $8,865,000.
This is a 6.25% increase, not a decrease!
If you look at the 2009 budget ...(page 13)
Again if you add the two numbers together you get a total of $9,214,900 and this year it is a 3.94% increase."

Also, if you look at the 2 Presidential candidates, you have Obama who said he is not for selective vaccination and is highly endorsed by Big Pharma, and you have
McCain who said that there is strong evidence that indicates a vaccine preservative as the cause of autism.

I am not very impressed. This was definitely not a deal breaker for me. I am still voting Obama.
I wonder, has Heather even talked to Sarah about vaccines? She said she has not regarding Trig, but have they even spoke about vaccines and autism at all?

I can't find this interview in the autism one archives. Has it already aired, or do we have to wait until October 22th, 2008? I'm a little confused, and I really, really wanted to hear this interview. Can someone please help? Thanks!
