After talking to Jeanne and then reading her comment and then ending up in tears while reading... I must add to the power of tomorrow with one of my many favorite's, myself...
"Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the face."
Helen Keller
Only those who tell the truth can do this, and damn if we won't be looking the world straight in the face tomorrow.
Jeanne, I know we are riding the crest of that high beautiful wave, and I pray to God that it will take less than five years for the madness to stop.
We should all sleep good tonight. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter in the history of autism and vaccines. And an excellent chapter I believe it will be.

Over ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY confirmed RSVPs from Senators, Members of Congress, and their Health Legislative Assistants. I doubt I will sleep tonight. I have to put my favorite quote up right now, on the eve of this historical moment. I've used it before on AoA, but it is so very fitting, so I'm going to use it again:
"There was madness in any direction, at any hour. You could strike sparks anywhere.
There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right--that we were winning. And that, I think, was the handle. That sense of inevitable victory over the forces of old and evil. Not in any mean or military sense--we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high, and beautiful wave.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill....and look west. And with the right kind of eyes, you can almost see the highwater mark--that place where the wave finally broke, and rolled back."
