"What Questions Would You Ask The Presidential Candidates?"

If I were Tom Brokaw I would ask this question: How is it that nobody, and I mean nobody, seems to be the slightest bit concerned at the apathy of the government and pediatricians to examine vaccinations as the possible cause of autism in this country given that autism parents have been screaming for about two decades that they are sure that vaccines are the cause of their child's autism. If the government were to hand over the study of vaccinated versus unvaccinated children, OR even if the government was to hand over the study of children who have regressed following vaccinations to an INDEPENDENT contractor, chosen by and agreed upon by both parties i.e., the parents and the government, don't you think that this matter would be laid to rest once and for all? Would you be willing to advocate for and support the conduct of such a study or studies?

I think the right answer is actually to just pummel them from all sides with the questions that matter to you most. The MySpace thing, the TMWYS site, individual emails, hand-written letters, phone calls, everything. All of that info is available on http://www.usa.gov

As for the debate, the economy, foreign policy, and health care will dominate I'm sure. If autism or vaccines make it into the any of the debates I'll eat my sister-in-law's cooking. :)

...boy do I hope I have to eat Chicken Ala Salmonella, but I doubt it.

That's the one thing that bothers me most about the economy right now. The fact that it is overshadowing a whole lot of other important issues, simply because of the actions of a few on Wall Street. :(

I and many others I know have posted on Tell Me Where You Stand. I think it is a great initiative and incredible effort to help find out where the candidates stand.

However, the purpose of this post and link is to get this information to the moderator of the Presidential Debate on October 7. If you look on the link you can see this.

And this is a perfect opportunity to make our voices heard again! And another opportunity to ask the questions! We should never turn down an opportunity like these. You never know which one is going to be the "starw that breaks the camel's back". I would encourage you all to try!

Ang, got your email this morning. Thought your question was perfectly put. Unfortunately, too many characters (you must have broken the bank when you posted last night! LOL). about the autism epidemic, the financial impact the continued lack
of medically necessary treatment for 1 in every 67 children with
