From the Editor: Making waves

David Kirby's next book, "Death at Sea World," isn't out till July but already there are two petitions against it. You know, don't buy it, don't read it, don't believe it. Kinda familiar, eh?

there are no coincidences. there are symbols and signs all around us and we think nothing of them... this epidemic is part of a much bigger picture called the New World Order. trust that they want your children dumbed down, sterile and sick.

thank you for this blog and i understand that very few will agree with my comment.
peace to all of you.

Vaccine registries ARE a very scary thought. They can be used to discriminate against those who aren't up-to-date. We have already had a person on our Yahoo! group say that their daughter was denied medical care because she wasn't vaccinated. I hate to see where this is going.

"No, I got the point. I just think it's a stupid one is all. This scenario, I can see all ready is going to digress into name calling and all the other BS. And frankly it is going to make all the organizations on BOTH sides look like fools to the public. AND the public is going to be just as (if not more so) confused as they are right now."

Deborah,

It was a joke. I took it as such and I'm sure the majority of other folks did as well. I actually thought it was funny when I first read it.

Bottom Line: Lighten up. If the *other side* has nothing better to do than to write a blog piece on Kim's obvious joke and try and discredit *our side* by doing it, then I'd suggest they get a life.

Most people are smart and can see past the name calling and weigh an issue based on the merits presented.

PS...Speaking of name calling, you might want to practice a bit of tact the next time you want to make a point. Calling another person's remark "stupid" does little in the promotion-of-my-message department.

How to opt out of Child Profile in Washington State...

That whole registry thing caught my attention more than anything else. Caused me to have some... quite scary thoughts about where something like this could go and be used for....

No surprise to learn Wyeth's involved here, the vultures.

I think you missed the joke. 666 is the devil's number. Get it?

According to google maps there is an 11th street in DC. Upon doing a map quest for directions it too validates the physical address of: 666 11th St NW in DC.

I don't think the address is bogus as the quotation marks around the 666 seems to imply.

DEB

I see Wyeth's contrubution to ECBT is to be used to establish vaccine registries.

Florida has a vaccine registry called "Florida Shots" which is used by schools, health departments, etc. to track a child's immunizations.

Florida is an "Opt Out" State in that parents can limit access to this registry (http://www.flshots.com/resources/opt-out.html).

I opted out of this long ago.
