So now we're having a national debate, courtesy of Mayor Bloomberg, over super-sized sugary drinks and obesity. Fine, but what about a super-sized vaccine schedule and its effects on diabetes and obesity, for starters?

Adult Onset "Autism?" Is Minnesota our Neurological Damage Capitol?

AlzhemiersOlder American men are sliding into neurological impairment. Have our children been the canaries in the coal mine and now the miners themselves are becoming ill?

Autism tends to strike boys more frequently than girls, which is the same trend being seen in older Americans and this frightening new state called, "Pre-Dementia." The study was conducted in Minnesota, in the county surrounging the Mayo Clinic. This is the same area where Somalian children have been diagnosed with autism at an alarming rate.

From the article which ran earlier this week: "A prime goal is finding drugs to treat the mild impairment before Alzheimer's develops." How about finding out what environmental factors are denigrating human brain function to avoid the condition, rather than simply treat the symptoms?

CHICAGO - A milder type of mental decline that often precedes Alzheimer's disease is alarmingly more common than has been believed, and in men more than women, doctors reported Monday.

Nearly a million older Americans slide from normal memory into mild impairment each year, researchers estimate, based on a Mayo Clinic study of Minnesota residents.

That's on top of the half million Americans who develop full-blown Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia — a problem sure to grow as baby boomers age. The oldest boomers turn 62 this year.

"We're seeing that in fact there's a much larger burgeoning problem out there" of people at risk of developing dementia, said Dr. Ronald Petersen, the Mayo scientist who led the study.

"The change of light in Somali mothers from their country of origin potentially influence maturation rates, causing autism"

Then why is does it seem to be limited to Somali populations?

What about ANY immigrant from a equatorial country to any more northern lattitude? This along with the Vitamin D scenario, while interesting and detectable seems to be grasping at straws.

The combination of older somali dads, the kids being exposed to TV's, and all this sunshine, yeah, thats it.

Could not possibly have been over vaccination of women who were afraid to admit they were pregnant because the thought they would be denied entry to the states..... or all the free vaccines given (pushed) to the new immigrants who were afraid to decline because they were afraid they would be sent back...

Can't look there though.

Fact is this is the most blatant implication of vaccines I have seen yet, but the MInnesota Dept of Health has already ruled out the possibility of even THINKING of looking at vaccine records or protocol for that immigrant population.

Neuroscientist Norman Geschwin in his 1982 Cerebral Lateralization described the effects of light changes on testosterone levels in mothers, levels that decide the maturation rates of her children.

The change of light in Somali mothers from their country of origin potentially influence maturation rates, causing autism.

Just an FYI, diet drinks will definately put you in a fog. I experimented on myself by drinking a lot of nutrasweetened soft drinks. I lost my short term memory and could not concentrate. I stopped drinking them and my symptoms cleared up. Then later I tried them again with the same results. I will not touch a diet drink anymore. I'd rather be fat than dumb. However, Splenda does not seem to have the same effect.

At 41 I started showing signs of something terribly wrong. Memory fading (short term), Not being able to understand conversations (I could understand each individual word but had problems putting the words together to understand the idea being conveyed) and form that, frustrations, anger, etc. I felt that it was Althzeimer's and I was terrified. I could feel this getting increasingly worse. Had to quit my job, and feared that I would soon be institutionalized. To the point I could not understand stuff on the internet to try to help myself. Another family member had recently been treated for Mercury Toxicity, so I was aware what that was. In fact, many people in my family have auto immune issues that could be traced to inability to detoxify well. I had all my amalgam (silver) fillings in my teeth replaced and underwent chelation therapy. Within a week I was seeing remarkable results. I shudder to think if I had not undergine that treatment, where I would be now.

Mercury Toxicity and Autism have almost identical symptoms. I believe some people are genetically set-up to have trouble ridding their body of toxins. We are all exposed to toxins- air, water, foods, metal dental fillings, shots (OMG the poisons in them!). You can only hold so much before your body shows symptoms of Toxcicity. For those of us who were not exposed to a ton of mercury in childhood vaccinations, it is taking us longer (ages 30's and 40's)to hit maximum capacity. For today's children who have been exposed to an enormous amount of mercury thru an enlargened immunization schedule, they are hitting that overload much sooner. That's why autism rates in children are so high. That's why there is an increase in Altzeimers in older people and an earlier onset of that.

I think we're seeing a catch-all of many neurological disorders

I'm sure the list goes on ...

Flu shot anyone?
At this rate no one will be neurologically typical after a while.

My mother has Parkinson's. Her aunt had Parkinson's. My husband's father had Alzhemier's. No wonder our son has autism -- deficient detoxification pathways?

I remember Dr. Kartzinel saying that he had successfully treated a man with Alzheimer's using DAN! treatments like those he would use on a child with autism. He cautioned that this was only one person.

The "experts" seem to be so fixated on medication and oblivious to detoxification, supplements, etc.

"....Just from Minnesota...... HELL IS GOING TO BE A BUSY PLACE."

FYI - Minnesotans can add lyme to their list of woes. Incidently the explosion of lyme occurred at the same time the mercury laden vaccine shots for infants went up in the early 1990s. You could overlay the graphs on top of each other to see the exact same rise in incidence.

http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5623a1.htm

"A Healthy People 2010 objective (14-8) is to reduce the annual incidence of Lyme disease to 9.7 new cases per 100,000 population in 10 reference states where the disease is endemic (Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin) (1). This report summarizes surveillance data for 64,382 Lyme disease cases reported to CDC during 2003--2005, of which 59,770 cases (93%) were reported from the 10 reference states."

Pfieffer is doing work with Alzthiemers. They began after they consulted with me. I had noticed the same sets of symptoms in my father as in my son. I began treating my dad with the same treatments and saw some preliminary improvements.I got a call from pfieffer and they picked my brain for about an hour or so as to what I was doing with my dad. I am not sure how much further they have gotten.Might be worth checking out.

And, let's not forget how much the elderly are pressured into having their flu shots! Wonder if the mercury and aluminum in there could be affecting their brains? How about the large percentage of seniors who are on statin drugs, with increasing side effects of mental confusion. The statin fiasco is one of pharma's next tsunamis...

This saddens me and strikes me as particularly poignant because my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's this past week. The first thing that comes to my mind is the mercury fillings that he's had nearly his whole adult life (since removed, now has dentures). The second thing are his low glutathione and B12 levels. Mercury probably disrupted the B12 pathway and caused a long-term deficiency. Additionally, the cholesterol lowering medication his doctors have him on has probably accelerated the symptoms of PD.

It breaks my heart what we are doing in the name of health. The medical community won't acknowledge the connection between mercury and Parkinson's and Alzheimer's either.

From the report:

WELL THEN -THAT JUST ABOUT EXPLAINS IT!!!

How friggin dumb to people have to be???

Living in Minnesota, if there is one thing I know, if it does not result in MONEY for a constituent (please read hospital - pharma - medical trade group -certainly not an individual) it does not exist.

This is the land of 3M, where none of their chemicals, which of course are found in every inch 0f the world, can not be possibly be harming people within drinking distance of their disposal sites...........

OH BY THE WAY....

MINING IS A WHOLE "NOTHER" STORY....Just from Minnesota...... HELL IS GOING TO BE A BUSY PLACE.

From "across the pond":- I've wondered whether the pesticides used in New Jersey and California for vegetable-growing could have had a very slow-burn effect on the brains of agricultural workers. You see, my late father taught gardening in England from the 1940s for twenty years and as late as the 1960s he was using quantities of Aldrin(?spelling) as an insecticide on our garden vegetables (this was eventually taken off the market in the late 1960s). At 66 my father was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and that was the second cause listed on his death certificate at 73 (it's far more usual for P.D. to be described as "live with" rather than "die from"). N.B. My father's thinking became very confused in the last year of his life.

Maybe ten years ago I remember reading a summary of an American research study describing how men with P.D. were sometimes found to have an autistic grandchild. I wonder what the possible transmission route could be?

You know what's going to happen? I know what the Vaccine-thugs will say; "There's the adults with autism that you've all been looking for."

The pHARMa-scum (tm) are back to their old tricks again. Deny, spin, deny, and then drug up the result for a tidy profit.

I really truly hate this country sometimes.

Part of "Minnesota Nice" involves caring, but in a manner that's reflexive rather than examined. Guests visiting homes are frequently urged to overeat so the host feels validated. Likewise we have an overzealous public health administration whose foot soldiers take their orders unquestioningly.

Minnesota is culturally diverse but still has a large proportion of people of Northern European descent. Genetically many seem prone to dementia, depression and other mental illnesses.

When a relative starts displaying signs of Alzheimers, a good Minnesotan will first fall into denial... until a near-tragedy jolts them into reality. Then they find that their beloved Mayo is not aggressively seeking answers, like following Boyd Haley's research, and can do nothing more than offer a prescription for Aricept and a map to the nearest nursing home.

Meanwhile the immunization department continues to spread untruths about the hazards of injecting ethylmercury, and a few years back the Minnesota Board of Dentistry voted to not vote on a petition to provide informed choice about dental amalgam. Years from now, smarter people will look back on this era and shake their heads in stupefaction. Some already are, but not enough to make real change.

Tanners Dad -
Not only that, but the subjects of "Petersen's federally funded study" were "living in Olmstead County".

Well, they should spell it "Olmsted".

Minnesota has an area(iron mining area), not sure of its proximity to this county, the area of the mining is toxic. People have all types of lung disease.Iron overload is a significant issue with bacterial growth, oxidative stress.

There are times when you only have two choices Laugh or Cry. This is one of those times when we all are crying inside. We have been screaming from the rooftops and mountains that our children were the first canaries in the Coal mine. I wish I could say now they would listen.
Now for the crazy side to put a little smile in your day. Did whoever write this article come up with Adult Onset "Autism" just so Age of Autism could be the destination website...AOA and AOA...LOL. In this time of admitting conflicts of interest it is important for everyone to be up front. I know I am just one sick puppy. Today I have chosen to laugh... I have cried enough for one week (lifetime).
