So Dr. Jenkins has a daughter who's a graduate of the U. of WI medical school. Hmmm....
so is my brother and they were told in class by a professor that mercury should never have been
allowed in vaccines, it would never pass FDA standards today, but that the drug industry was too
big and too powerful to get them to stop using it. My brother was in school there in the 1980s. I wonder if
anyone is still saying that....

On the website it says, "Unwarranted Fear." I definately have this syndrome - I can't stand the bastards-but I would never says it is unwarranted.

From the website, the stated mission - "AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS, Dedicated to the Health of all Children"
Thanks to the on-going efforts of the above-mentioned organisation, we, the families of the children on the autism spectrum now suffer from the following condition:
"Known by a number of names - Iatrophobia, Fear of Doctors, and Fear of Going to the Doctor being the most common - the problem often significantly impacts the quality of life. It can cause panic attacks and keep people apart from loved ones and business associates. Symptoms typically include shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea, and overall feelings of dread, although everyone experiences fear of doctors in their own way and may have different symptoms. ."
Then here's an important question.
"What is the cause of Fear Of Doctors?
Like all fears and phobias, fear of doctors is created by the unconscious mind as a protective mechanism. At some point in your past, there was likely an event linking doctors or going to the doctor and emotional trauma. Whilst the original catalyst may have been a real-life scare of some kind, the condition can also be triggered by myriad, benign events like movies, TV, or perhaps seeing someone else experience trauma."
It seems as though the AAP is familiar with Iatrophobia, its not the "other" children they were concerned about after all. They were afraid that people would start to get afraid of them. Sorry too late, cat's out of the bag!!
