David Kirby's next book, "Death at Sea World," isn't out till July but already there are two petitions against it. You know, don't buy it, don't read it, don't believe it. Kinda familiar, eh?

CHICAGO ELECTIONS AND BOZO'S CIRCUS

Chicago_2By Harry Hofherr

Modern Medicine keeps playing with the autism numbers. I'm here to warn them they'll go blind if they keep it up.

I'm from Chicago.  I was actually born in Chicago but raised on the north side of Howard Street which technically makes me an Evanstonian. But Evanston was the home of The Women's Christian Temperance Union and the south side of Howard Street had a tavern on every corner, sometimes two. I liked the south side of the street better. It was a more interesting class of people.

A significant part of growing up in Chicago was being exposed to the politics. I was fortunate that my parents knew a few of the pols (politicians) and they were frequent guests at our house. My brothers and I would hang around watching the poker games, keeping our mouths shut and our ears open.

One of the funnier lessons back then was math. The nuns taught us real math in school, like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The pols taught us a different math that showed 2+2 sometimes equals 6, maybe 8 and occasionally 47.

As an example. Around this time JFK ran for president and on election night all the results from around the country, including California, were posted before Chicago announced for Kennedy. The first Mayor Daley had waited until he knew how many votes JFK needed. His apostles went to the cemeteries and secured those long gone votes for JFK.  That kind of math is legendary around these parts.

I later learned that around here general elections didn't mean much. They were a formality. The fun was in the primaries but the real action took place in the committee meetings. That's where the candidates were anointed as guardians of the status quo. Remember, Chicago is a feudal system. We only have one political party. We don't allow dissent. We don't want surprises either. When it was time for an election, the bosses knew what the outcome would be.

I think Modern Medicine tries to learn from Chicago Politics. They've elected themselves the guardians of mankind's health so they probably needed to learn how it's done. I also think that's why so many of their organizations are headquartered around these parts. Maybe they're doing post doc studies.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for instance is located in Elk Grove Village, a suburb of Chicago. They are the people who, according to their website, are dedicated to the health of "all" children.

The Baby Doc's are under attack and are really angry. "Why won't these goddamm annoying loudmouth anti-mercury anti-vaccine zealots go away and leave us alone. We're The Baby Doc's and we know what's best. Our scientific studies are solid, conclusive and the overwhelming evidence does not support a link between mercury, vaccines, and neurological damage in babies."

The AAP and their sister companies, Pharma, the FDA, the IOM, and the CDC, under the direction of the parent corporation, Modern Medicine, screwed up big time. When it was uncovered that their ever expanding world of vaccines was chocked full of some really nasty chemicals that were supposed to make our babies all better and instead made more and more babies sicker, it was a surprise to almost everybody. Then, the guy who helped mandate most of vaccines, Dr. Neal Halsey, said they made a mistake. He said they didn't add up the numbers. Oooppps!

Since the late nineties when this mistake was exposed, Modern Medicine has issued countless denials, deceptions, and deviations. First they said all mercury is bad and should be out of vaccines. Then they said some mercury is better than other mercury. They said the science is complete and can't we please all just get along and leave it alone? Yet they keep insisting they don't know what the cause of autism is. They failed the first rule of deception. "Keep your story straight."

They also failed miserably in their big political test. "If you're going to have an election make sure you know the results beforehand". They elected to increase the vaccine load on babies. They should have known the outcome beforehand.

First of all, mercury is not good for the human body. The AAP said it themselves, in the journal Pediatrics, vol.108 No.1, July 2001. ""The developing fetus and young children are thought to be disproportionately affected by mercury exposure, because many aspects of development, particularly brain maturation, can be disturbed by the presence of mercury. Minimizing mercury exposure is, therefore, essential to optimal child health."

Anybody need a doctor or a lawyer to explain what that means?

So, why is the AAP still telling babies to get shots with mercury in them seven years later? What a surprise to find out most flu shots contain 25 micrograms of thimerosal which is 50% mercury. They mandate that infants get a couple of these a year now. There are also trace levels of mercury in some other vaccines.

Let me repeat what the AAP said, for all you speed readers.

"The developing fetus and young children are thought to be disproportionately affected by mercury exposure, because many aspects of development, particularly brain maturation, can be disturbed by the presence of mercury. Minimizing mercury exposure is, therefore, essential to optimal child health."

What the hell has changed? Did mercury suddenly become less toxic? Did it stop killing brain cells? Does it cure ED or Restless Leg Syndrome? When did mercury become fashionable? Should we be serving it as an aperitif?

They are going blind playing with the autism numbers. First we get, "There's an epidemic of autism". Then they say, "The numbers are dropping in California". Not long ago it was, "The Numbers in California are rising". Now they say, "There is no autism EPIDEMIC!!!" The numbers went from 1:10,000 in the 80's to 1:500 in the 90's and now the number is 1:150. But there's no epidemic. When I told him about the baby docs and the bogus numbers, my friend John said, "Dese clowns is a bunch a rank amateurs".

If you're going to massage the numbers get a pro to do it. Not a psychiatrist, or an anthropologist, or a lawyer, or an epidemiologist, or an MD. Get a Chicago Pol. They use different math. For God's sake, a Chicago Pol knows what the numbers look like months BEFORE the election.  What are these Modern Medicine guys, Bozo's Circus?

Bozo_2(NB: Bozo's Circus was a famous TV show on Chicago's WGN Channel 9, before it became a Superstation and began marketing the Cub's instead of Bozo. Bozo was a clown and he had a partner, Cookie the Clown. There were a few ringmasters over the years but I liked Ned the best.)

Look. All you Baby Docs, and Cookies, and Neds. For what's it worth, your credibility is tanking. We're talking toast here. Get a clue.

People talk. Young and old. Smart people talk. Smart people who are not doctors and not lawyers and not Pharma executives and not pols. They're worried about their children and what should be even scarier for you; they're worried about their grandchildren.

I hear them ask, "Why are the doctors and drug companies and the government releasing a new study about autism almost every week? I thought that issue was settled?"

I hear people reply, "Maybe it's not. Maybe they're still working out their side of the story. Maybe since the drug companies have been getting caught, almost every week, buying FDA drug approvals based on bogus scientific studies, then the rest of their studies, like the ones they use for vaccines, might be bogus too."

Then I hear a quiet little voice say, "Maybe, when they tell us that it's perfectly safe to go from 10 to almost 40 vaccines in a short period of time and don't offer any laboratory safety data, we need to take another look at their election results."

When people explain that to their friends and family an often heard reply might
be, "What a bunch of Bozo's".

Harry Hofherr, as a fellow parent, I am really glad that you watched so much TV as a child. You definitely have a great pair of eyes and ears. Thank goodness for that. And thank goodness you know math, you never know when that might come in handy. Its not all about reading you know, you have got to know how to *add* at the bare minimum.

As a fellow Chicagoan, I loved the analogy! Thanks...great article.

Great post it had me smiling on the inside at the pro-mercury clowns. It does get more and more insane as these evil, greedy idiots get more and more desperate with their lies.I have to pinch myself because I think sometimes I am stuck in a bad dream that is to crazy to be reality.

This was a great summary of the insane explanations we see everyday in the press regarding autism. For years, when the denials first started, there was no problem because they only used “safe mercury” in kids’ shots. That will rank as the all-time greatest oxymoron.

Then started the studies. Years and years of studies, all saying the
same thing: Vaccines don’t cause autism. One was out last month and two more are predicted for the fall. As far as parents are concerned, the medical community has failed them. We continually read in the news that genes studies can explain why a child suddenly regresses in to autism. Everyone is still scratching their heads about the disorder affecting a generation of children. We’re told biomedical treatment is just theory and that there is no cure. The only thing experts know for sure is that vaccines don’t cause autism. I think what officials are discovering is that another study doesn’t really matter. No one is listening anymore.

BA-before autism-I worked in Public Affairs/Customer Service for a Fortune 50. Research showed that people with good news tell 1 or 2 people but people with bad news tell 5-10 people and people with really bad news tell 15-20 people. Our vaccine injured kids rank higher than really bad news, I'm glad we are reaching thousands.
