My son has Autism, and I didn't take offense to the comment on Big Brother. First of all, it's Big Brother. I am glad it was shown because it shows we have a LONG way to go in educating the general public about autism. I think the comment just shows that there are still ignorant people in America.

This was an email response from GEICO.
Dear Julie,
Thank you for contacting us regarding advertising that ran during a recent episode of the Big Brother TV show.
GEICO does not sponsor the show or have any national spots running during the Big Brother television show. We do buy “Prime Time” television in selected markets across the country and a local station may choose to run our ad during this time period as part of our purchase.
We certainly don’t agree with the statement made by this actor regarding autism. It is unfortunate this person chose to express his opinion in such a public forum.
Again, thank you for your sincere interest in this matter.
